My wife is awesome! She gave me a RCBS Rockchucker kit for Christmas. It has the press, powder dispenser, scale, funnel, Speer manual, and lube pad. I know I need a few other things(stand for the powder dispenser, trickler, case prep brush). Any pointers on what else I may need would be appreciated.

I will mostly be loading 45-70, .280, .375, .223, and .44Special/Mag. Thanks.

It came with a hand priming tool also.

To Name a few : Die's, Calipers, Case Sizers/trimmer, debrring tool, primer pocket cleaner, Priming tool, Brass Tumbler, Media for the Tumbler, another Manual it's always nice to have at least 2 Different Referances, and if Your New To Reloading, READ THE MANUAL, READ THE MANUAL, and don't be afraid to ASK Questions.

sinclair makes carbide primer pocket reamers, expensive but very good

not ablolutely necessary, but may improve accuracy - flash hole debur

lyman reloading handbook is my favorite
i use the reamers in a drill

unique for light 44 and many others
h110 or 296 for 44 mag
or maybe 4227 or several others for 44

748 is my favorite for 223, but also like varget and 4895 and others are good too
748 and 4895 are good for many rifle calibers

i've wanted a harrell power measure, but never spent the money

some kind of deburring tool

and maybe this to run it in a drill http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/cid=5601/k=/t=P/Products/Case-Mouth-Chamfering

One accessory that I deem absolutely necessary is a Case Headspace and Lenght Gauge (Lyman for most except .223 where Wilson is preferred).
If you have one of these for each caliber that you reload you will be able to detrermine whether a case is within standard reloading specifications (or not). If you have the gauge(s) then you are set to purchase fully processed once-fired brass, which will preclude the need for the all case preparation (once they have been checked and "pass" with the correct sized gauge - Beware: brass from even reliable sources sometimes doesn't "pass" gauge!)

Another is a good caliper as you will need to be able to properly set cartridge OAL (overall lenght) when you seat the projectiles,

Still another is a kinetic bullet puller to use in correcting mistakes that you WILL make!

I may have missed it in an earlier post, but a couple of multi-caliber load trays are very handy.

A notebook or some other method of keeping good records. A couple of ammo boxes, and labels for em'.

I hate to discovery mystery loads?

I've been collecting the stuff I need for some time now. A press, dies, and scale only scratches the surface. I discovered another few things I need today and there will be another UPS shipment headed my way. It's amazing how many little things are necessary to get a reloading setup started. The good news is you only have to buy the stuff once (buy good stuff) and then it will start to amortize with every round you reload...

Read the manual. Also get a kinetic bullet puller. You'll need it. Even if you think you won't.

That's the truth. Wait until you load 500 or so only to find the load needs adjusting. Load up a few rounds 20-50 fire it up first.

I'm not sure what your previous reloading experience is but here is a link to a new reloading guy, he took a little ribbing due to (corrected) thread title but got some useful information to get started with. I hope it helps.

Too many good guys here to lend a helping hand or word if you ever get stuck or start scratching your head or just want advice.
