New to Dawsonville area and looking for Fish

Don't know much about the fish-n in NG, BUT, The fish-n on OCONEE is AWESOME!!!

Try Toto creek park on the north end of Lanier. It is my go to spot on lanier,Crappie,perch white bass,stripers ect. It is off hwy 136 above Dawsonville on GA 400.

Where is a good spot for me to put my kayak in the water on Lake Acworth ? I am not real familiar with the area and I have read that South Shore is a good spot ? Any info you might could give would be greatly appreciated Thsnks !

They have a boat ramp at Cauble park where you can launch your kayak. I do best fishing around the golf course on the otherside of the lake and on the south side of the lake. I fish with rubber worms and jerk baits and do really well.

Well I don’t plan on it . Was hoping to go out today but the weather hasn’t turned out quite like I hoped it would and the weekend is even worse.
I hear Oconee is Beautiful !!

It is BEAUTIFUL!!!
19000 acres of water, 357 miles of shoreline, multiple marinas, many boat ramps.
Lots of UNDEVELOPED shoreline TOO!!!
