New USMC Scout/Sniper Scope

New scope is the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56mm with TReMoR 3 reticle. This will be used on all Scout/Sniper weapon systems, for all applications.

At first they will be on the new Mk13’s, but eventually they will replace all the Premier Reticle and Schmidt & Bender optics that are currently in use.

Usually, the Mk13’s are shipped from Crane as a complete system. The Corps will be sending the optics to Crane to be installed on the rifles Crane already has.

Army SpecOps had quit using the Mk13 and went to the M2010 ESR. This left the SEALs as the only user of the Mk13 and lots of spare rifles sitting in inventory at Crane. Crane worked a really good deal with the Corps and that cinched the deal.
