Now that colt can screw you on the price again, selling back to the public.

Does anyone have a clue as to the dealer cost on the new batch? Or how it compares to the old price?

Ads like the one above just show that Cheaper Than Dirt aren't the only ones to jack up prices whenever they can.

I know from the last panic that (public) companies like Ruger and Smith didn't raise prices at their end, they just sold a lot more. All the price increases happened at the distributor, and even more so, at the retail level.

My guess is Colt isn't making a ton more on these guns than they did before. They just feel they can sell their $600 rifle for $900 again and not have them sit on retailers shelves.
