Because there's no longer a reason to speed up the process and the government doesn't want you having evil things anyway.

I read that when the govt shut down last time they laid off the temporary contract workers and never brought them back .

Just got the text from my FFL. My individual suppressor stamp is in! Send off last June, so 9 months plus or minus a few days.

I’ve got a friend that is still waiting from last May.
