ODT'ers must have some horrible luck

Because in the past week I've dealt with people that have had a water heater to break. A timing belt to break. A unexpected bill to show up. A speeding ticket. And one that simply thought it'd be better to spend $150 more for something they couldn't wait two days to get.

Or they could not have bad luck and simply thought spinning a yarn would have been better than just saying "I changed my mind". Hint, being honest sits better IMO.
You really expect them to admit being d'bags?

I’ll take cash for clunkers for 800 alex

nah even now its just a huge pita to some people to try to sell stuff

other week i bought a car at an estate sale. clean le sabre 1 owner
lady said her mother stopped driving it because it would cut out.
i bought it for 100 dollars and towed it home. found out it had
a bad ign switch. it runs and drives good tires ac works. put
it up on craigslist, figured i would sell it quick for 600 bucks.

but all i got were, How long have you owned the vehicle?
would you take payments a couple no shows and other
bottom of the barrel tirekickery type of crap so i will
probably end up parting it out and then scraping it

i dont guarantee 500 dollar running and driving cars.
sux i like working on old cars but you just cant deal with
90+% of these farkwards anymore

Its better than "I ran out of gas on my way to you. Will you take $560 now instead of our agreed upon $600..."

The transformers.
Just thought there must be an easier way.

Certainly would have been easier with a forklift, pickup truck, or even a engine hoist. None of which were available. (Well I could have driven my truck, but this was impromptu.) I did work a little smarter though, we had unlimited pallets available. So I made a "staircase" to the jeep's rear cargo section. It was only terrible.
