Ok what's the deal with pistol scopes?

Why doesn't Leupold make a stainless pistol scope anymore? Even their black scopes are out of stock everywhere. Is Leupold getting out of the pistol scope business?

I’d guess that most of the market is in the red dot pistol sights.

I grew up hunting with a 45 colt Ruger Blackhawk. Now a lot of those states allow straight wall cartridge rifles and semiautos. Most people probably just get an ar barrel and call it a day. I will say that handgun hunting is fun and a challenge with irons.

Ebay or other used gun sites for used leupolds
No money in wheel guns or accessories anymore for manufacturers

I had a few Burris hand gun scopes years ago and they were good to go. Really clear.

They also got rid of gloss finish and axed some of their fixed power stuff too. Streamlining everything to their biggest sellers, I guess.
