I know what you mean. I'm hoping that with the latest lever gun craze that maybe some higher end Scout scopes will come back on the market. I'll probably get a Burris but I'd love to have something like a LPVO with a red dot reticle. Leupold made a VX-R firedot scout scope a while ago (like 1.5-4x or something) but they are impossible to find and command crazy money when they do pop up.

Leupold has recently discontinued all their fixed power scopes so maybe they aced the pistol scopes too.

I own this one. Never used it. Came with a Browning Buck Mark 22 Gold Target I bought a few years ago.
