Okay I'm into watches again. Post your favorite models

I remember the glass cases at Macy's in Macon being full of Fossil watches. I never thought much about them. Recently I read somewhere that Fossil owns Zodiac which I like a lot.

Yeah, Fossil caters to the lower end, but a lot of them are very nice looking. They own a company that makes movements, and they white label manufacture for a LOT of brands out there...

I wore it all day today, and its a very attractive watch...

I prefer the more upscale(mid range) brands, but I do like a good deal...

Nothing wrong with the occasional Mall Watch especially on sale. I scored a decent looking Caravelle "dive style" with retro looking cushion case and navy blue NATO on eBay a while back cheap. It was an open box display deal for $40.00 plus shipping. Same watch is still $100.00 new .

Decided to order this one today... Timex, so it will be reliable... Basically an homage to a Tudor BB, I guess? Or is it more like the Fifty Fathoms from Blancpain?

Either way, name brand, $83, classic design and should run forever...

Good looking watch with the red bezel.
I ordered an Orient Kano with the red bezel from Jomashop for one of my bosses birthday about two years ago. Until then he just wore a really nasty looking G Shock. In fact I had to explain to him why it stopped running if he didn't wear it for a few days. He's one of those UGA ( barely graduated highschool) hardcore fans . I figured he would dig the red bezel.

Good looking piece for a Timex and a good price. Although I think I would dig it more on a rubber strap.
It's funny because in my twenties I didn't like anything but a metal bracelet and usually an oyster style. Not a fan of the jubilee style since they get loose and lots of side to side play in them.
Anyway these days I really prefer the natos and rubber straps on most watches. I really want the Oris Aquis on the black rubber strap. Same for the Tissot Seastar. Even the Seamaster looks better to ME on the rubber strap. Although given the price I would probably get the bracelet model and order the factory straps on eBay.

I had a Kano, gave it to a friend, he loves it. Mine had the red dial and black bezel. Orient makes a fantastic watch for the money. They have some new models that really are nice.
