I have a S&W with a bobbed hammer, and dry fire only, in my bedroom, I try to mess with it SA, and it ain't happening in real life.

I mean, it;s way cool, but exactly what scenario are you going to need SA aimed fire from a 1 3/8" barrel?

You won't. 3 users down the line may not understand the risk of decocking a Bob job. Bang.

Thanks for the young compliment. Im just shy of 50 and never saw that grip before. Must be from earlier than me.

Good spring humidity with adequate temps for a multi-day rust blue of the areas worked on. The color won't exactly match the still good factory blue but it'll be more durable than the factory blue and of course, cold blue. (Which is not oxide blue but rather blackened copper plating)

Here, the barrel, sight trough and butt polished 220 grit , cleaned, and in moments, the first faint bloom of red rust.

The grip shape looks very comfortable. I still run Tyler T-grips on several of my Smiths.

It is. Pinkey spot really aids my grip with a bit of arthritis in the larger finger nuckles.

Incidently the second swipe blacked up fast and dark. Only about 3 to 5 more trips into the boiling water I think.
