It's just a cheap, old shooter. The fool that had the pistol before me Cera-koted it, including case-hardened trigger and hammer. Don't want to ship it anywhere, just not worth the cost, insurance, or hassle... If I can't find a local gunsmith, will leave as is...

Smith hands are extremely hard. Hammer will not do anything except maybe chip it.

This does work on guns made before the 20s or 30s. That metal was very soft.

Thanks for the heads-up, but Cartersville is a 160-mile+ round trip. I'm sure there's a competent gunsmith in the Rossville, GA / Chattanooga, TN vicinity. Just need to find him...
