Outlet shopping malls for Brit ladies

Georgia Gun Store in Gainesville. Alexander's in Blairsville.

Commerce, exit 147 (IIRC, may be 143) off I-85 North. Don't eat at the mexican restaurant close to the outlet mall (DO NOT eat there!)

Do go to the boot barn just north of the outlet mall on Hwy 441. 8000 pairs of boots! And they'll let you try on every pair...

Ya'll, I have two females flying in for Thanksgiving. They have done this for 5 yrs now......they hire a car and drive all over GA outlet shopping.
I'm close to Dawsonville outlet and they go to that one.
Can you let me know what else is out there in your area......driving time isn't an issue as last year one day they were out 15 hours in one day

Thanks
Brit

With them not being familiar with the area, I would NOT recommend them going beyond the perimeter south of Perimeter Mall. There used to be some real bargains in the Chattahoochee Boulevard Howell Mill Area just off I-75. But those shops are now stocked to cater to diverse cultures and can be a safety hazard for those who don't "fit in" with the crowd who shops there now.

There are some real bargains to be found in some of the area consignment shops:
The Board of Trade in Roswell ... plus the ambiance of the other shops and eateries in the area.
There is a shop in Cumming in Lakeland Plaza (Uptown Cheapskate) located at 20 and GA 400. There's a Belk's Plus a Beall's Outlet there as well ... some nice places for lunch too!

I assume that they have already toured downtown Dahlonega and its Gold Museum.
