PAP Sbr question?

I have a quick question about a sbr im working on. Ok so I've ordered and ace side folding stock for my pap, its an 8.5 plus a 1 inch pad on it making it 9.5 inches. My question, is will the folding mechanism take up some space and make it more than 9.5 inches? Im trying to send my form 1 without waiting for the stock and need to know the actual length of the firearm. Also do I need to measure with the krink break on or without, and just measure to the end of the threads. Any help is appreciated since I want to send the paperwork in without waiting for the stock cause not only will the nfa paperwork take awhile im not sure when the stock will ship, and im ready to get his ball rolling.
