Patio Cover! - Here we go! Started this project!

After talking to the HOA folks, I had to put a hold into the project and submit the "Structural Change " application. Finally it got approved and I received the notice last Friday. I was planning to do some work on Saturday and Sunday, but the rain pushed us off.

Yesterday I got at least a little bit done. See pictures.

NOTE: The 6x6 posts, I had to scrape off some of them to be able to fit into the metal base. I used the old way of a handheld planer.
