Patio Cover! - Here we go! Started this project!

On September 18, I started taking some siding out, so I could install the ledger boards, both for the rafters and ceiling trusses. I removed the fireplace small roof, to get it under the new roof.

On September 20, we install all ceiling trusses, and I was able to use them to set the ledger top board.

By September 24, all rafters were already in place. And we prepared to start laying down the roof deck, or plywood.

After plywood in place, we installed the felton paper and started laying some shingles....

Yesterday, September 29, I finished the shingles installation and installed metal flashings.

Today, was a long day, so I was able to almost finish the sofit and side-wall plywood.

It's awesome. Take it easy on the thumb injury, cuts can reopen unexpectedly. Take a "zero day" tomorrow!
