Pediatrician questions

Mine was more like, if you're at a friend's house and your friend brings out a firearm...line of questioning.

I took my son for a sports physical and those questions were on the form we had to fill out. I wrote NOYDB beside the question about firearms in the house. When we got to the back for the actual physical the doctor asked about my answer, so I politely explained it to him. He told me in a rather snotty manner that he was required to ask these questions, and he asked me bluntly if we kept guns in the house. My son looked at him and said "Shoot yes, matter of fact Daddy's got one on him now".

Fastest physical ever!

Been to the VA? My response is a passionate,"have you ever seen anybody whose been shot in the head? They never follow up on the question.

Doctor: "We just want make sure you are being safe." I would almost be tempted to say, "we are being safe, thats why we own guns". But that would violate my strict rule of "guns. No, Im not a hunter so I dont own any guns."

my kids are in their 20s.. if a doc would have started that BS with them.. they'd have had a nurse coming in to look at him
my youngest owned a yugo sks at 8 years old... and shot it better than i could

hate to admit it being all manly and all.. girls can shoot LOL
