For the Ladies and "Small Statured" Folks. Theis armor is built for the Small statured Soldier however, since most: Small Statured Soldiers are female, the new armor is "Female Body Armor.

All about improved fit for females and small stature Soldiers.

USMC PC Gen III in 2020- Just an update as to what the USMC is doing for their armor systems:

This was a co-effort initially from the USA and USMCto get after the same vest and bring commonality to the ground fighting force. The only difference between the USA and USMC's new armor systems is the donning and doffing of aspects of the vests.

The carriers are exactly the same, The ballistic packages are exactly the same. The USMC's attachment system to secure the carrier is much easier and quicker to manipulate and secure than the USA's.
