"ProReload is licensed by the ATF as a Type 06 Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturer. Although we're currently a small, 3-man operation, we take great care in loading ammunition that is reliable and cost effective.
We are firm believers in taking care of our customers. Although there are many little ways throughout the day in which we do this, I can summarize two that I feel are extremely important regarding product guarantee and customer communication. Please note that Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) are not listed in these two points only because they define us as a company as where this section defines how we interact with you, our customer, and guarantee our product.
First and foremost, we will always provide you with safe, quality ammunition at affordable prices, and we’ll stand behind it. Obviously, we’ll never stand in front of it, because, well, that’s just stupid because we know it’ll fire. Our commitment is to ensure you’re happy with our product. If you’re not, we’ll make it right whatever it takes. Our assumption on this point is that you’re an honest fellow. We will never take advantage of you, we hope and truly believe that you will not take advantage of us.
Second, we will always respond to your requests for information in a timely manner. Good, honest, and timely communication is something my father taught me at a very young age. It has stuck with me ever since and it’s a policy I take great pride in proving my customers. Additionally, it was always frustrating to me – prior to founding this company - to order ammunition and see the shipping deadline missed, but worse, never receive an email after I requested a status update. I couldn’t help but wonder: Did I just get F&$%#!?! You will never have that experience with us. When you send us an email, you're getting a response, and in a timely manner. This is important to us because we know it's important to you. As a small outfit, I can’t always promise a response the same day, but you will get a response as quickly as I can provide one.
As a small manufacturer, I feel it’s also important that you know that I will never sell you ammo that I don't actually have sitting on the floor. What I mean specifically when I say this is that when I sell you ammo, I either have the components necessary to load the ammo that I’m selling you or I have the ammo already loaded and ready to be packaged and shipped. Based on what I've personally experienced in the past, plus what I’ve heard about the manufacturing side of our industry, many companies will sell ammo prior to receiving the components necessary to load the ammo. We will never do that. What we sell, what I sell, is already on the floor either as loaded ammo ready to ship or in the form of components that are ready to load. This fact solely determines our shipping schedule.
Furthermore, a lot of guys ask me: do you have a backlog? In the nicest and friendliest way possible, you're damn right we have backlog! Please excuse the candor, but please do not confuse "backlog" with "backorder." These terms mean two very different things. We always have a “backlog” of orders to process, meaning we already have the components on the floor ready to load and ship. This is the primary why we offer ammo at the prices we do. “Backorder,” however, would mean that we sold you ammo we don’t actually have components to produce and now we have to go buy the components, wait for them to arrive, and then load and ship. As a manufacturer, we will always have “backlogs,” but never “backorders,” unless very clearly specified in the description of the product. That said, I’ve posted a backorder, and quite honestly, I do have any intention of doing so.
Obviously, we're not a large company. We’re the polar opposite of a large company, we’re a tiny company that truly cares for its customers. We take great care in doing what we do. To do what we do and stay in business, we need a back log, we're a manufacturer, not a distributor. I'll repeat the again this point because it is extremely important: we only sell what we have sitting on the floor ready to load. What you're waiting on when you wait for ammo is for us to load it using our Quality Assurance practices and then perform Quality Control. We then package the ammo and prepare it ship.
As we continue to grow, we will continue to hire new individuals. In fact, as of this writing (September 27, 2016), we're in the process of hiring another individual to help us keep up (UPDATE: As of October 17, 2016, we are now a 3-man operation). We’re very excited about the future and I am greatly please that you have taken the time to learn more about ProReload. Thank you.
