I found the SCCY CPX-2 triggers to be God awful even as a $200 gun. Hi Point may be one of the ugliest and cheapest guns, but at least the trigger isn't a 20lbs pull, with 2ft of trigger reset.

Agree with that, I had one and ended up selling it.
I'll never own another Taurus because of their parts being shipped from Brazil. I had a Gen I PT-111 and the captive recoil spring broke. Every few weeks I'd check and it was constantly on back order.
When I asked if they had any projection they couldn't tell me. They said they couldn't get any info on shipments because of security!
After 6 months of we don't know when the part will come in I demanded a replacement or a refund. They had me ship the pistol to them and they repaired it finally. I had an expensive paperweight for over 6 months. I will never own another Taurus no matter how low the price!

Got mine today from my ffl. First impressions are really good. Very, very nice features for a $200 pistol. I called cherokee today and spoke to a very helpful and informative guy who said that allthough they are currently out, they expect more in a week or two and they will remain at the $200 pricepoint. I find this pistol extremely hard to beat for this price.

Just got home from the Range. Very happy with this gun. No fails to anything, I feed it four different kinds of ammo- no problem. The trigger is night and day compared to the g1. Very short travel on the first and nice short reset. Its a keeper.
