Question: How much are .223 shell casings worth?

I have 140 .223 shell casings that have been checked for dents and crimps but I don't know what they are worth. I'd like to trade them for something useful but I need a value placed on them. Can any of you re-loaders help me out?

Not to step on y'alls feet but they are going for $0.06 per case where I am at. TruPrep sells .223 brass (when they can get it) for $30.00 per pack of 500 and they have had pretty regularly in the past couple of weeks

Well I was speaking generally I have seen them go for far more...I'm sure OP just wants info...nobodies feet are involved

Prices are all over the place right now. I paid $3.80 lb for scrap where I get mine. Set your price and good luck is bout the best I can offer.
