On Corps Property it is a absolute no-no... I got a warning once....

You can apply for a letter of permission from the ACOE District Commander.
I got my letter in June and have carried my stainless steel .38 on Corps land and in a boat on their lakes several times this summer.

If you can park your car close enough to the water to fish outta your window, you'll be 100% legal to carry, but you wont be able to drink beer...

How do you fish without drinking beer? And I can park the truck in the water.

Park your truck near the water and fish from the bed, along with your cooler of beer.

In GA you can carry even with a GWL on Federal land which usually includes fishing rivers/streams. I looked it up once and came to the conclusion that it was a big fat NO! Freedom in America is just an illusion. It was true a loooong time ago but not anymore (Let's say 150 years ago).
