I assume that you have already gotten and read a late edition of a good reloading manual.
If not, stop right where you are and do your studying FIRST!

Otherwise, be patient and you will find a good used set-up for a little less than new, but why wait?

I started out with the Lee Loader about 40+ years ago (and you use a plastic tipped or wooden hammer, NOT rubber)
If you get one (and I strongly recommend NOT more than one), do it for the easiest caliber: 9mm.
Mark my words: I guarantee that you will tire of thing very, very quickly!

Where would a good source to find free lead, I know wheel weights are getting hard to find because the shots have to almost treat them as a hazardous waste, and they are going to steel and zinc. is lead from old batteries ok to use.

Check gun shows, yard sales, flea markets, and gun stores. I have found good used items at all for good prices.
