I remember this old commercial from my early childhood days. It was pretty outdated even then, but It's seared into my brain.....blast from the past!

I remember it well. I grew up in Decatur. Haven't been to that area in decades.

Yep, remember it well ... Lots about that area that brings back fond memories before it became weird and "Gay" There was a restaurant that as well ... Can't recall its name ... Manuel's Tavern Just down the road (he was alive at the time).

Plaza Drugs saved me back in the day. Got food poisoning and was coming out both ends. The on-call doctor called in a prescription to Plaza Drugs since it was the only pharmacy opened in the middle of the night. Otherwise, it was going to be off to the ER hoping I didn't explode in the car. That was 30+ years ago.
