The whole "For Profit" thing really cracks me up. For the last 25 years, the most sure fire way for a particular gun to go down in value is for me to buy one.

So the next time someone shoots up something and got the gun privately the cry will be for 'universal' background checks, since closing the gun show loophole obviously didn't go far enough to prevent the horrible crime (whatever it may be).
Universal background checks poll REALLY well, even among gun owners (over 50%). Given the right mix of Congress, POTUS, and tragedy they could get this pushed through in a heartbeat. We only dodged it after Sandy Hook because of (like it or not) arm-twisting by the NRA.
This is their next big push, since they are likely to lose a lot of ground when the courts start limiting hardware-based bans next year, and carry is expanding rapidly as well.
Anyway, the 'gun show loophole' is dead except as a win for Biden according to the media. I wouldn't expect to see it brought up much in MSM again.

Politicians lie, so who knows. But would assume they will drop it at least for a few… but when it comes up it will be Trumps fault.So, we won't hear that phrase used in political ads anymore?
