Round count

Who actually keeps a round count on a gun? The only ones I know are the ones I bought new and have never fired, and my .45 auto American Derringer. You remember every shot out of that puppy. (One range trip, 12 rounds)

I have a log for several rifles that I own, and have owned, even if it was pulled out and shot once to drop a critter. Certain cartridges does matter.
 
I’ve shot guns out. Still do. I get the “most people” but some of us do shoot out barrels. I’ve got some I can show you.

That being said, guys who shoot enough to shoot out barrels typically aren’t going to sell you a straight shot out gun, and we use terms like “well used, may need a barrel soon etc” but if you’re asking with the hopes of catching someone selling a straight shot out gun as a serviceable gun I don’t think you’re going to be experiencing that scenario ...
