9mm 1911's are a lot of fun. I don't own one, but a student of mine bought a 9mm SAI Range Officer and had John Harrison go nuts on it. Got a pic around here somewhere........

Here it is in a natural element without the white background used on the website. Jeff Quinn (gunblast) already has one and he is running it through it's paces. He posted this on FB a few days ago. Not really a fan of the Ruger 1911 fullsize, but this, I want.

I think the Springfield EMP 4 inch is built for the 9mm. Slightly smaller frame. Des anyone know if the Ruger will be the same?

I'm confused why they didn't leave it the same design as the .45. I like the 5" full size gun they make and I think many others would like it too.
