Shooting competition with suppressors.

Dang I shoot like a pro with my suppressor on the other end. Maybe I should compete with one attached.... What are the rules on that?

What kind of competition. I don't know all the rules but I wouldn't think it would work well for IDPA

Good point- I hadn't thought about the timer. I'm planning on shooting the local bowling pin matches suppressed if I ever get my stamp back. Probably better run a test with their timer first though.

we had a gun run a suppressed ar at a 3-gun match and it would not register on the timer.

you could always drop the mag, clear, and drop the slide....that normally makes the timer register lol


i'd like to see a suppressor specific match somewhere. unholster, attach can, load and shoot. have to be manually timed though

If you turn timers down they'll grab the shot most of the time. My surefire timer on my phone does fine if I turn the sensitivity down.

Where are these competitions held? I just picked up a CZ Czechmate race gun, and I dont even know what to do with it.

I shot a match that was 2 gun with an obstacle course 2 weeks ago. suppressed rifles were allowed and used as that was not what stopped the timer. As others have stated shot timers have issues with suppressed guns
