Very cool product BUT invest in bulk ammo. That thing will drain your ammo stores quickly.

Works as advertised and installs/un-installs very quickly.

Looks like it would have a lot of wear on the stock attachment area and go through to much ammo. Would also speed up barrell wearout IMO. Not a good thing.

I've used my ar 15 slide fire quite a lot. Does no damage to the buffer tube. It does heat up the gun a lot and will shorten barrel life. Oh and it eats ammo like candy.

What is the collective experience with indoor ranges allowing the SlideFire stock?

I took mine to staddords I know the guy tim he wanted to try it but other than that I think it's a no go on the indoor range .
I'd just call first.
Oh yes I love mine and buy one before you can't .

You'll be hard pressed to find an indoor range that won't enforce the 4 second rule. 1 shot, wait 4-5 seconds then shoot. Fine if you're sighting in, but a total waste outside of that. Find an outdoor range that allows full auto fire. It's either that or some private property.

The new Slidefire design is actually appealing. I may just grab one of these now that they look like a real stock. Kind of like an MOE or CTR. and they work on .22s as well...tempting, VERY tempting.
