I bet that your stock is salvageable with a little bit of work it could be turned into something comfortable

I'm going to hit some of the spots with a dremel today to bring down the very rough stuff.

Wood is always salvageable, and can always be made to look pretty.

my Exploding Comp still isn't here. went ahead and took off the top though, good thing I taped it, mine slipped when the dremel sanding bit fell apart. You saved me a mark on mine

the Fab Defense tube is supposed to be MilSpec, its Commercial... I dont have any Commercial Stocks, I forced the Milspec on, almost couldnt get it off, took two of us pulling in opposite directions, almost knocked us over when it came loose. I don't recommend trying that at home or in the shop.

I put the AFG on there, but think im going to go with a vertical one instead.
