I never thought I would make it past 40 but here I am rocking 60.
Retired Life is Awesome (not really) but everyone should try it at least once.
Looks like I will be spending more time Metal Detecting and Fishing and maybe a little Hunting included.

I hit 65 last year, won't be able to "retire" until at least 70 after watching savings (401K) start to disappear. It seems it's no longer up hill, but trying to avoid the cliff.

Wait until you hit 70....That was a mental hurdle for me. As far as retirement goes, you better have something to do everyday to keep active or, you will wilt away.

I retired at 60...over 10 years ago. Never regretted it for a minute !!

I will be 60 in April. I'm enjoying life now. Been sick for 18yrs, but now I have grandkids, life is 100% better.

Let me Clarify something.
I am forced Retired..
I fell at work and injured my Spinal cord and now can not work (over 2 years ago),
This is something that a lot of people do not know because that incident was involved in Litigation.
I have never spoke of this till now online (a few people knew).
That is why Hunting may be a little hard but I am willing to try.
I can walk but it is with a permanent limp and I can not go very far when walking.
Constant pain "Stinks" (wish I could use sware words there).

Dang buddy, hope you can find some relief somehow for the pain.

I'll be 60 this year and have two freshmen in college and one of those is out of state.

I should probably be looking for a side hustle...

The thought of retirement sounds so good.
