I think my ABS can be turned off, but unless it poses an issue on the track, I will probably just leave it on. That's a safety net that I like.

My Super Tenere has Abs, 3 modes of traction control, and two riding modes (touring and sport). I left the abs on offroad on a trip out to Big Bend, and never had an issue. I did have to turn traction control off. Sometimes you just need to spin that rear tire up, especially in the sandy washes.

I've had numerous MX bikes, enduros and street bikes over the decades. I ride a dual sport now, since I don't like being out there with stupid people in cars. I try to get away to some forest service roads, logging roads or other dirt whenever I can.

Use to run a Harley engine tweaked for performance. I fell in love with the firecracker red edition and lost my mind on the orange and "electric blue" frame models.

Now the current owner is using Rotax engines.

They're niche market bike sales. I haven't seen the new (Rotax engine) one's yet
