8-10 yrs ago when I was working in the yard I got word of a home invasion on the south end of PTC. I remember thinking, "I'm unarmed. What the heck would I do if that happened here?" Soon after that I bought my first pistol, an XD9 Subcompact and initially I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. After much practice, I can pretty much hit what I'm aiming at, including the broad side of a barn.
