You could legally make your own out of a Mag lite flashlight because they all have a serial number on them. You just have to leave it as a flashlight until you get your paperwork back. If you know how to do it with certain dust plugs as and such it can be a reasonable alternative to an expensive suppressor and it just costs the flashlight and the tax stamp and 6 months. Me personally would rather just save up and by a professional made one because they will work a whole lot better.
