oh they have a whole write up on them in the American Rifleman, and the dad is not even a gunsmith, he never went to school for it, they only have one guy that did.
I tried watchin it the other night ......... it was like ''orange county gun choppers'' .. ;(
I'm afraid it's gonna send out a bad signal to other idiots who don't know jack about firearms and gonna try to copy cat an blow their head off.
The show obviously is not made for "gun folks". It's made for people that don't know squat about guns, but think they are looking into the real gun world. Firearms voyeurs. It's basically very bad gun porn.

I watched this episode last night (the 1000yd AK build), am I the only one that noticed it was a .308 Saiga? Depending on the load it wouldnt be too difficult to keep it supersonic passed 1000 yards regardless of the platform. Of course a huge ass Krieger match barrel helps Im sure 
So, sure they could have gotten a hit through the windshield of the car at 1000 yards with that rifle, but it probably took them 30 tries, not 3.
