Maybe, just maybe the sexyiest 1911 SA Inc has put out since the professional. If it only has front strap checkering it would be perfect.

Deep rich blue, no front slide serrations, no ambi safety, no ILS, GI recoil spring guide rod, series 70 ignition, Novak cut sights...

I really dig what they did with this Garrison line. I agree, some checkering on the front strap would round out the package perfectly. After handling a few, I think I would have to swap to a normal width set of grips too. Those thin ones just feel odd to me. Super solid pistol in general, and especially for the price.
