Not sure on the legality of shooting a fleeing target. Guess it depends on if he is still armed or not? Someone help me out here.

This was directed towards the guys that said the shooter should have continued shooting him, because he fled and was still combative with the cops. I’m sure his initial use of force was legal, but he probably only shot once because the guy turned and fled after the first shot. If he continued shooting while the guy was fleeing I believe he could have gotten himself in a pickle legally.
