Stupid things you have seen or heard at gun shows!

"That's the safety" - guy telling his wife and pointing the shrouded hammer on s&w 638.

"You should buy it before I do" - dealer told me about a pitted SKS with a scope he was asking $600 for.
 
One thug telling another thug at a table that a chrome gun will kill you quicker than a blue steel while fondling a Chrome plated Saturday night special :doh:
 
1988 - Range, Guns, & Safes in Forest Park; I'm 12 yrs old looking at the pistols (with my father) at the end of a long glass case of guns. Guy comes in with a loaded 1911 for the gunsmith to inspect. With the muzzle pointed down range (toward me approx 10 feet away) he proceeds to unload it. Racks the slide THEN drops the mag. Pulls the trigger and BANG. Round penetrates the wall to my left a few feet from my head. The concussion of that round passing so close took my breath away. Very valuable (and long-lasting) lesson about basic gun safety learned that day...
