Hmmmmm. Decisions decisions. I would love to have one but, Oh well, No buts. Cheap, plentiful ammo, even at $1100 it's still not a bad deal. Saw one about 2 years ago for $950 that sold quick.

....and going up in value also. Can still get parts.
i cant take an svt to the range without someone wanting to buy it, especially for the sniper verion

Vepr's get made everyday, they don't make SVT-40's no mo.

It does have the rails on the sides but not the notch on top of the receiver to lock the scope mount in place.

(almost all of them came with the side rails milled into the receiver until 1942. Only the actual snipers received the top notch)...
