I came into a completely unassembled Tru-Test double barrel shotgun. I believe I have 100% of the parts I just need a local smith to put them all together. Can anyone recommend someone in the Cobb/Cherokee area that can handle the job?
I've made a few inquires but never get a response.

found this.

If it is a Stevens should be easy to reassemble.

To distinguish between who made a particular gun, take a look at the butt stock where it joins the metal frame. The butt stock on a gun made by Stevens will have two semi-circular projections (one on each side) that fit into two corresponding cutouts in the frame. A Crescent made gun doesn't have these. On a Crescent made gun, the serial number will be stamped on the lower tang just behind the trigger guard. Give us the serial number and we can tell you the year the gun was made. Sorry but there is no such information available for Stevens made guns.
