The bass are hitting top water

My Dad and I took my 4 year old son out on the jon boat at my cousin's pond in Rutledge yesterday and we caught about 15-20, 1/2 lb-1 lb bass on floating Rapalas. My son had a blast. I also caught a yellow belly on top water.

My brother was down there last week and he caught a 7lb bass on top water. Same deal. Floating Rapala.

My Dad took this pic as soon as I pulled him up. He was a beautiful bream. I would have liked to turn him sideways...And you didn't really want to see that Copenhagen in my teeth. LOL
