The gun you never buy

Nighthawk 1911 doublestack.

If I won the lottery, I would buy Winchester model 52. My dad's good friend had one and my dad took me shooting with it a couple times when I was a kid.
for those of you not familiar with it, the Winchester 52 is a very large heavy long barreled target rifle (or at least the version that my dad's friend had was specifically made for smallbore rifle competition).

Another gun that I used to own that I might like to own again if I wanted to have a safe queen was the Weatherby Mark V deluxe. Glossy blue on the metal, very well finished walnut stock with a high monte Carlo cheekpiece. mine was in .30-06, but if price were no object I would probably get it in a Weatherby Magnum caliber.

finally, one more rifle that I would like to own but only if I were rich and didn't mind wasting money on a gun I don't need and never would use for its intended purpose, would be an African safari type dangerous game rifle. Perhaps not in the caliber suitable for elephants but maybe in a lesser caliber like .375 Holland and Holland, which should be good for anything below elephants.
Or it could be in a true elephant caliber, like 458 WinMag, 460 Weatherby mag.

Safe Queens I'd like?

Match pair of High Standard Crusader revolvers
Any of the Winslow bolt action rifles.

View attachment 1701957 Always wanted a Steyr Mannlicher in 308 just never did it.Pretty much got what I wanted at some time or other.
CZ 550FS is that same gun basically except for the name. 700 bucks for a big centerfire model. You have to designate Manlich stock. I know I have been wanting one for a long time and just never get around to buying one. I love the mannlicher stock. Absolutely love em!
