It's hard to imagine just who he would leave this awesome collection to upon his promotion to The Church Triumphant.
TONs of history there.
Only someone like the Smithsonian could handle its care and treatment ... Thinking on it, the Air Museum at NAS Pensacola comes to mind: it would be great if one of our military bases like Fort Bragg could handle its transfer and display.

Yeah but they will remove firing pins and weld the breach and barrels. This guy is unique in that his guns are all in working order... they won't stay that way at any government museum and I imagine the ATF transfer process to a non government facility will take an act of congress.

I was part of a Marine Detachment on an aircraft carrier.
We had a ridiculous number of nuclear bombs on board.
I think my captain beats your general!
