The Official Truck Picture Thread..

No thanks

I'd rather live a few more years

My brother got rear ended in his crown vic 1/4 mile from his house doing 30 mph in a subdivision
Lady in a new F-150 was doing at least 60 and never lifted off the gas , hit him 3 times then went off the road and hit a tree

Put wrinkle in the roof of his vic

Would have killed him if he was on his bike

My wife got bumped pretty hard in the back of our expy
Minor damage to expy
But what would this to to someone on a bike ?

On a bike you'd be in ICU for weeks
Yes, I guess we can all hide in our houses the rest of our lives where its nice and safe and you won't get hurt and go through life, coulda, shoulda, woulda, but didn't, lol. Everything in life is a risk, some more than others. For me, I've never done drugs and I'm not an alcoholic, motorcycles are my escape, freedom, that no other thing I've done compares to, so to me, its worth the risk. The places, sights, and smells you get to see behind a motorcycle travelling with your buddy's beats the fear of "what if". Some things you can't explain to those that have never owned / ridden a motorcycle.

Cheers!

Agreed. I love to ride. What non riders fail to see is the bikes aren't the danger, it's the idiots on 4 wheels that truly is.

Love the new tundras

Right now, they are THE best overall truck on the market
It's the small details that seem to impress me

Mine has a knob to adjust the height of where the headlights shine at night

If you but the key in the lock and turn it once it unlocks the driver door, turn it twice and it unlocks all the doors

And the doors unlock even in someone else pulls on the handle too soon
As soon as they let go it unlocks

The stock engine sounds sooooo good when you floor it , they spent a lot of time tuning the intake and exhaust to get that sound. A lot of car companies now play a fake engine sound thru the radio speakers , and that's just wrong and lame .
The tundra engine makes 390 HP -- -nearly double than my expedition yet it gets 4 mpg better

The steering wheel is the perfect size and off set so you can spin it with your palm and the airbag not get in the way

The roll down rear cab window is really nice to hauling 20 foot sticks of pvc pipe

And and after you drive the tundra. The turn signal lever in everything else feels like it's hooked to rubber bands and rocks

Thanks. As if i didn't already want a new Tundra you just made it 1000x worse.
