Yes, I guess we can all hide in our houses the rest of our lives where its nice and safe and you won't get hurt and go through life, coulda, shoulda, woulda, but didn't, lol. Everything in life is a risk, some more than others. For me, I've never done drugs and I'm not an alcoholic, motorcycles are my escape, freedom, that no other thing I've done compares to, so to me, its worth the risk. The places, sights, and smells you get to see behind a motorcycle travelling with your buddy's beats the fear of "what if". Some things you can't explain to those that have never owned / ridden a motorcycle. No thanks
I'd rather live a few more years
My brother got rear ended in his crown vic 1/4 mile from his house doing 30 mph in a subdivision
Lady in a new F-150 was doing at least 60 and never lifted off the gas , hit him 3 times then went off the road and hit a tree
Put wrinkle in the roof of his vic
Would have killed him if he was on his bike
My wife got bumped pretty hard in the back of our expy
Minor damage to expy
But what would this to to someone on a bike ?![]()
On a bike you'd be in ICU for weeks
Cheers!
