Haven't had a single issue with mine.

The only thing I have done to the upper is change the gas block and had it cerakoted by Fatal_Bert
2k rounds of steel case later, It still runs fine.

I know for a fact the anodization, barrel steel, bolt steel, pretty much every single part is not mil spec.

What exactly defines it as "mil spec" to you? Because the pattern and dimensions are compatible with actual milspec parts?
