Trash and their dogs...

We had a female we wanted to breed, so we let her come into heat.

Looked out, and in the middle of our fenced in, electrified back yard, the neighbor's black lab was doing the nasty with our dog. I knew the dog, and he was a good dog, doing what dogs do. So I called animal control, and was told they don't work weekends. Then I called the popo. The dog ran loose all the time, again not the dog's fault.

In the meantime, the owner showed up, said he was going to get his dog, that was still inside our locked fenced in back yard. I told him that as far as I was concerned that was a home invasion, I'd feel threatened by such behavior, and I'd shoot his ***. I was w-a-a-a-a-ay beyond pissed because we had been waiting two years to breed our dog.

PoPo finally showed up, said I had to give him his dog back. I said "dog is my backyard, I don't have to give him to anyone." PoPo told neighbor that he (LEO) had no reason to go into backyard, and that neighbor had been told not to enter, so he had no right to. He (LEO) asked if i had threatened neighbor, and I said no, I just told him I'd shoot him if he came into the backyard, and that was a promise, not a threat.

Here's what's funny, the animal control that couldn't show up when I called, finally showed up when the cop put in a call. Here's what's funnier - when animal control showed up, he called the dog by his name, the dog followed the animal control officer to the "pokey wagon" and hopped up in the front seat, The dog and animal control were on a first name basis.

As I say, I was about to have an apoplectic fit, the only thing that kept me from getting crossed up with the LEO was that I was standing in my own backyard. Dadgummed, I was pissed.

Oh man, oh ho man, I'd have turned all kinds of colors, lol.

What is it about those little dogs man?!

My Chihuahua acts like she's an 800 pound grizzly bear. She's just lucky that my Boxer is so laid back, because he could eat her in one bite if he wanted to.

One of the funniest things I've seen was in the lobby of Bass Pro in Macon during an NRA membership drive. I was running the drive and had my 9 lb terrier mix with me (she loves kids) and a couple came in with a Bluetick/Pit mix. I'm partial to Blueticks because I raised and hunted with them as a teenager so I reached down to play with the 8 month old puppy and my dog (7 months old) went into full on combat mode. I've not seen her do this before or since but man if I'd let her that day? She'd have eaten that Bluetick hound, LOL.

When I lived in Perry we had problems through the years with pit type dogs around our house being aggressive. It didn't help the hood was right down the road and folks there would walk the pit type dogs with logging chains and front and posture like they were tough guys in music videos. I called AC on more than one occasion about dogs running loose. Once 3 dogs backed my wife and kids up on the porch and were very aggressive toward them- resulting in my kids crying and in a panic, which in turn made the dogs more nutty. When I got home AC was still there and was ridiculing my wife to me about how the dogs were just big babies and there was nothing to worry about. I was pissed to begin with, but the AC broad made me even more mad. I asked her why was her pepper spray unsnapped if the dogs were "big babies"? She said the biggest one of the bunch was the most aggressive one, and she was still in my back yard. She said the other dogs just hopped right in the truck. I told her she better get the one out of my backyard then. I let her know there will be gunfire if I, or my family are threatened again. She said I had every right to defend my self and family. I told her I would.

You asked for it, get comfy grab a drink or go pee first........

He had already given my wife crap at her job earlier that day, because my smaller dog wasnt nice to him or his dog while they were both in my fenced in section.
(Lucky for him my rottie is a bit distracted cuz the little one is in heat. He's a wreck at the moment, all strung out its sad. Otherwise both dog and owner would have been very unhappy, my little one is in charge and he's the muscle so whatever she says goes and if she dont like you well.....)
Wife called me from work and told me what happened so on my way out I stopped to talk to him.
I was polite and he was a complete douche, my wife kinda pissed him off I guess for telling him he an his dog dont belong in my yard.

I am always armed.

His bad behavior is why he got to see my G21. It never came above waiste level, nor was it pointed in any direction other than down. Yes, in his driveway I drew my weapon.
After being told to get off his property and beginning to walk away he came up quickly behind me. I stopped and faced him, more of him screaming and telling me to leave while flailing his arms, picture a pissed off gorilla..(he's white let it go)Again I turn to leave take half a dozen steps and here he comes again. I turn around again, more yelling and arms flailing within arms reach of me if he leaned in and I drew as I stepped back. Again it was pointed down and never above my waiste, more of a back the hell up kinda thing. Fortunately it worked....
I was lazy and had it in my pocket since i didnt have a holster worthy belt on. Yes I pocket carry a G21 quite often...flame me later....
When he backed off it went back in my pocket and remained in my pocket until BCSO arrived. Thats when and why he called 911.
I waited patiently by my car for LEO. 2 houses across the street had people glued to the windows and storm doors watching the show.
As I saw the cruiser round the corner, I cleared my weapon and tossed it in the trunk and closed/locked the trunk. Deputy pulled up as I closed the trunk, i was on the phone with my wife so I showed the deputy both hands and closed the trunk i figured since it was a MWAG call that would be my best bet.
Douche starts screaming to the deputy about me "hiding" my gun in the trunk as he got out of the cruiser. I told him it was in the trunk empty and cleared, he said ok walked right by up to the house.

No paperwork on my end although it appeared he got a serious lecture.

LEO recommendation was to avoid him, call animal control if need be and have a nice day.

What I would have done differently, shoot the damn dog the first time.
Video is always helpful but walking up a driveway while filming seems like a bad idea. Audio would hve been a good idea but sound quality inside a pocket??? I'll try it later and see..
Kill the dog and then wait for the owner on your property then if need be kill the owner.

Bright side of this? Next time you know about how much time you have BEFORE the BCSO shows up.
Yup. You now know how much time you have to shoot him repeatedly and hide the body diffuse the situation should it happen again.

Call animal control next time let them take the damn dog

My neighbors love me

Guess what i do

Called the douche's landlord yesterday after work about what happened. I figured he should here about what happened from me. He's a nice older gentleman, retired MD who owns a few rental properties. His response "I've told him to get those damn dogs out of there". He apologized profusely, I told him he had no reason to apologize as he's done nothing wrong.
We also discussed a derelict car parked in the corner of the douche's front yard with expired tags and full of trash.
He said both issues would be taken care of and if I ever needed to call again not to hesitate.

Car has been moved up by the house and no signs of the dogs when I got home or this morning.
