Trout lure/bait recommendations?

Thought it got too hot for trout in Georgia. Do they stock annually or something?

They live in cold water springs year round but yes are stocked year round as well.

Up around the northwest corner they'll stock the seasonal streams on the 31 of march and the 1st of April, then every two weeks for the rest of the season. Gotta get to the popular areas before the goones with their dip nets though.

I have a buddy who fishes with the "trout magnet worms". They remind me of small bass fishing worms. He hooks them just like you would a trick worm, but leaves a little extra worm between the eye and the point of the hook. The creates a small bend in the body of the worm, and give it more action while being retrieved. He uses a small bullet weight and sets it up carolina rig. Also, light line and patience. I am not sure if any of this will work right now, given all the rain!
