So true! I've been in positions that paid really good money but worked for incompetent jerks, and I've been in positions that paid half the salary of previous jobs but working for great people. Bar none, working for less money with good people is far better in my opinion.Money is number 5 on the list of things that motivate people at their job. It will only keep someone motivated temporarily. Same with the fear of getting fired. Unfortunately, those are two things that managers and owners try to use to motivate people, and why so many companies have such high turnover. Number one motivator is working for a competent supervisor.
