They say this about boats... But I wanna share one with you guys. My great uncle who has been more like a grandfather has gotten up in age and is no longer able to get around like in days gone by. In the summer of 1974 he bought a Ranger bass boat brand new. I spent many a day on the lake with him in "The Ranger", as a young boy it was my dream boat. When I was in kindergarten I got chicken pox, my uncle carried me home with him so my little brother wouldn't catch them. The following day, we were on Carter's Lake!
We went and spent some time with he and my great aunt this afternoon, and of course I carried my little fishing fanatic downstairs to introduce her to "The Ranger". Understand that the boat has NEVER been kept outside, and is still in AMAZING shape for its age. As we started back up from the basement... He asked me if I wanted it and made me an offer a cant refuse. Enjoy the pics, hope they bring back memories for some of you!
