UPDATE--I got in!! see page 11--HELP---Canon Safe won't let me in

UPDATE:
I got in!

To recap for all of those that did not read the thread.

This took place over the course of several days:
Last Friday the safe worked.
Saturday, my combo (the same for all my safes) quit working.
I should have 4 bad attempts. It only gave me 2 before locking me out.
Read the owners manual several times
Changed for a new DURACELL battery as recommended by Cannon dated Jan 2013
Still did not work
Installed ANOTHER NEW DURACELL battery dated Feb 2013---same results

Read the manual some more
Cuss
kick
Throw a tantrum
Read manual some more

Remove battery for 12hrs
No change



Call Cannon.
Cannon says I have to go through place I bought it.
Call TSC and talk to Justin the "safe guy"
Justin the "safe guy" has NEVER heard of this problem
He calls Cannon
I have to show proof of ownership/purchase

2 days pass

I get sideways on Justin and have to help him find his motivation.
Justin calls Cannon again.

I get a "master code" from cannon tied to my serial No.

I drive home from work
Try MY ORIGINAL CODE AGAIN!----does not work.

Enter master code.

that sum-***** opened up...

With the door open, I tried my original combo and GUESS WHAT!!!!

IT WORKED....

PFM....man, PFM...

Dang it man - glad you are in but what a pain. I have the same safe. Wow
Persistence pays today - nobody gives a damn anymore.
