Just got back from Chastain Walmart in Marietta and the ammo clerk told me that they are phasing out 22. I didn't see it posted here or I missed it but it's news to me.

On the bright side they had 4 boxes of 333 golden bullets and a about 8-10 325 boxes of federal..

.22 LR is one of the most popular handgun cartridges in America it wouldn't surprise me if Walmart does stop selling it except the people that they know have a 22 rifle.
But how would they know?
They can't be sure that they're not helping arm some thug with his Saturday night special so they'll probably quit selling it one day.
